I lost my husband in June 2018 and my son was there to help me pack my things and put the house up for sale. That was a house on 20 acres. It took 2 years to sell the place and in the meantime, we would come to AZ and look to see what was the best place for me to move to and see what was up for sale or new homes. Finally, I found a home on my last trip out here I thought, sold my home in AR and when we got here we looked at a few other places. My son has friends in the Sahuarita area and I know only them. I am 73 and just lost my husband in June so this is a big step for me to take in my life now. We met with Amanda Hess she was my sons' friend's agent and she helped him with his mom and mother-in-law getting their places. Amanda took us to new and old and lots of lovely places. So I had lots to look at, she was so sweet if I had a question she would answer it and if she did not know she would find out and let me know. She put me at ease while I was here seeing my granddaughter and I felt so comfortable here that I forgot for a time all the bad things that happen in June and July 2018. I Sold my home and I was on my way out in April 2020. Got here to my rental and then started to look harder and ask more questions. I found my home and Amanda helped by asking questions I did not think of and told me of things that I should be aware of. Moving from Antioch, CA to Siloam Springs, AR to Sahuarita, AZ that is 16 years of my life. This move was easy the rest were hard. My son has a friend in CA who wants to move to AZ and we gave him one of Amanda's cards and if anyone else asked us about an agent we will give them Amanda's name.
